Hi,
Since most people use plex, xbmc, etc. for keeping libraries , it would be a nice feature to export the data from .ts.meta to a usable format . Just planting seeds 8)
I don't know if the .meta file contains any useful information
but if you are looking for the EPG info:
you can use the eititor to extract that information from the .eit file ;)

The work on the program is discontinued though (but I think it is finished anyways)
If EPG data (EIT or Teletext) is found, TS-Doctor creates an additional text file with EPG data. The file has the same name as the create file but with the file extension .txt
Sample from a recording of a British channel:
Channel : BBC One HD
Date : 04.10.2014
Recording : 21:25-22:25 Doctor Who
Description : (7/12. Kill the Moon: Sci-fi drama. The Doctor and Clara crash-land on the moon to find a base full of corpses, vicious spider-like creatures poised to attack and a terrible dilemma. [HD] [AD,S])
yeah but for enigma devices like you are using it will just extract info from the Teletext which is often not as detailed as the info contained by the .eit file which represents the saved epg text
