Zitat von: Cypheros am April 05, 2026, 22:25:04Sorry, during the holidays we have not the time to look into this, because the analysis of such problems is a bit complicated and time consuming.

Ok, i hope after the holidays you'll be able to look into the incorrect timing saving in the cutlist window & .tdscuts file.

It remains the problem that cutting at I-Frames causes stuttering on my favourite device, but simply resolving the incorrect timing (manually editing the .tdscuts file) i did solve 75% of my problems, because i obtained a file that stutters only a little bit, at cutpoints. The only thing is that to manually edit the .tdscuts file is absolutely unpractical.

Thank you

Sorry for the inconveniences but cutting without re-encoding is always a compromise. The more complex and advanced video codecs become, the more dependencies there are between individual frames. We are now able to reproduce the problem. A slight freeze at the joint. We are trying to find a way to prevent this.

Thank you.

Is it planned, for future program versions, to implement the re-encode at cutpoints?

It will be great.

Video-Redo was trying to do that but was not 100% able to get it right, because you need to use the same encoder settings as the source material and there are thousands of them for h264 and even more for h265. Every TV channel has uses other settings and the settings permanently changing. A Sisyphus job.
