Problem with recording files

Hi

I have a lg lw650s tv. This tv can rec in a hdd conect to the usb. The tv format the hdd to a jfs partition. When the tv rec, create a folder 00000006REC, inside some files like those 00000006PIF, 0000000600000001IDX, 0000000600000001STR and 0000000600000001THM. the biggest file is the str file, this is the video, but i can´t play in the pc with any software. This is the report of the mediainfo

When I try to open with tsdoctor i have always the same problem in the pmt scan, pmt invalid or missing. Is there some way
for play this type of files on the pc??
Can someone help me?

Hi, please use the RawCutter under Tools to cut off the first 10MBytes to create a sample file and send this file to support[at]cypheros.de
I will investigate the format and try to find a way to make it work in the TS-Doctor.

Sorry but the file seems to be encrypted. The packet structur is m2ts (192 bytes) and OK but the PES data is marked as encrypted/scrambled.

All TVs with USB-Recording that I know of encrypt their recordings.
So you cannot play your recordings on PCs nor on other TVs or media players.
With some models the restriction goes so far, that you even cannot use the recordings on an other TV but the same TV-Model.
If you need a repair and your chassis has to be changed, your recordings are gone.
